Our church did this theme in 2003.  This was the first year I helped with crafts.  I didn't keep any notes on this but I think most of the crafts we did are listed below.

Cruisin the Amazing Amazon - A jungle journey to discover Jesus. This VBS has a colorful and exciting theme and great decorating ideas to create a memorable jungle adventure.

Children embark on a fictional cruise down the Amazon River to discover how Jesus cares for all of us.
